Ingredient or Thing, not the genuine Produce oftheGrain fuch Meal or Flour flial! import and ought to be, fhall have been mixed up with, or put into, any Meal or Flour in the PofTeffion of any fuch Miller, Mealman or Baker, either in the grinding of any Grain at the Mill, or in the dreffing, bolting, or manufaauring thereof, or whereby the Purity of any Meal or Flour is or fliall in any wife adulterated : And if on any fuch Search it fhall appear that any OfFence hath been committed in any and fuch Meal and Flour Mill, Bolting-houfe or other Place allowed to be fearched, contrary to the true Intent of this Act; as fhall be deemed to then and in every fuch Cafe, it fliall and may be lawful to and for any Magiftrate or Magiftrates, ^^^^ been aduksrated, fuflice or Juftices of the Peace, Officer or Officers authorifed as aforefaid refpeaively, within the "^^y^^J^^^^^, together; timits of their refpeaive Jurifdiaion, to feize and take any Meal or Flour which fhall be deemed, an?i!g,'edient5 ■I'nd'if on any fuch Search, to have been adulterated, and all Mixtures and Ingredients which "fhall be feized by a Peace' Officer found and deemed to have been ufed, or intended to be ufed, in or for any fuch Adulteration ; and it 's to be carried before' fuch thereof as fhall be feized by any Peace Officer or Officers authorifed as aforefaid, fhall with all ^ Magiftrate; convenient Speed, after Seizure thereof, be carried to fome Magiftrate or Magiftrates, Juftice or Juftices of the Peace, within the Limits of whofe Jurifdiaion the fitme fhall have been fo feized : And if any Magiftrate or Magiftrates, Juftice or Juftices of the Peace, who fliall make any Seizure if feized by the Magi- in purfuance of this Aa, or to whom any Thing feized under the Authority of this A6t (hall be ftrate or adjudged by brought, fhall adjudge that any Mixture or Ingredients, not the genuine Produce of the Grain any ^"^ to be aduUciateJ, fuch Meal or Flour which fhall have been fo feized, fhall import and ought to be, fhall have been put into any fuch Meal or Flour, or that the Purity of any fuch Meal or Flour fo feized, was adul- terated by any Mixture or Ingredient put therein ; then and in any fuch Cafe, every fuch Magiftrate ^g ^^ ^-^f Cg (%„ <-. or Magiftrates, Juftice or Juftices is and are hereby required, within the Limits of their refpeaive heSmk.' propc/j'^'^° Jurifdiaion, to difpofe of the fame as he or they, in his or their Difcretion, fhall from time to time think proper.
