That an A3, made in the thirteCiUh and four- teenth Years of the Reign of King Charles the Second, intituled, Jn A^ for preventhig Theft and Rapine upon the Northern Borders £/" England ; which by feveral Adls hath from Time to Time been continued; and by an Aft made in the fixth Year of the Reign of his prefent Majefty (for making perpetual feveral A6ls, and for other Purpofes therein mentioned) was further continued until the firft Day oi September one thoufand fevcn hundred and forty-four, and from thence to the End of the then next SefTion of Parliament; and alfo feveral Claufes, Powers and Authorities, in the afore- mentioned Adl made in the fixth Year of the Reign of his prefent Majefty, for the more efFedlual preventing of Theft and Rapine upon the Northern Borders oi England; and which by the faid Aft were to continue in Force until the firft Day oi September one thoufand feven hundred and forty-four, and from thence to the End of the then next SeJTion of Parliament ; and v/hich faid AcSf, together with the faid feveral Claufes, Powers and Authorities, were by feveral fubfequent Afts made in the fcventccjith and twenty-fourth Years of the Reign of his prefent Majefty, further continued until the firft Day of September one thoufand feven hundred and fifty- fevcn, and from thence to the End of the then next Seflion of Parliament; are temporary and near expiring, fliall be, and are hereby made perpetual.
