And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Cafhier or Cafliiers, Receivers to return the on or before the firft Day of November one thoufand (tvtn hundred and fifty-nine, ft'.all redeliver to Jl'^^n^Jof [J^ Tickets, the faid Managers and Direftors, at their faid Office or Place of Meeting, all the faid Books, and therein all the Tickets which the faid Cafhier or Cafhiers fliall not have cut out and delivered to the Contributors as aforefaid ; and thaf the faid Managers and Uiredors, or the major Part of them, which fhall be prefent at a Meeting as aforefaid, fhall forthwith caufe all the Tickets of the faid. Gutermcft Columns, which fhall not have been delivered to the Contributors as aforefaid, if any fuch be, to be delivered into the Receipt of his Majefty's Exchequer, there to be regained and kept, and to be difpofed of, as the CommifTioners of his Majefty's Treafury, or the High Treafurer for the Time being fiiall judge reafonablc and fitting. XXXVI. And be it further enaded, That the faid Managers and Dircftors, or the major Part Tickets of the n>idd'e of them, which (hall be prefent at a Meeting as aforefaid, (hall caufe all the Tickets of the middle Columns to be rolled up, Columns in the Books, made out with three Columns as aforefaid, which (hall be delivered back ^"^ faftened with S.lkj to them, by or from the faid Cafliier or Cafhiers as aforefaid, to be carefully rolled up and made faft with Thread or Silk ; and the faid Managers or Diredors, or the major Part of them as afore- and cut off Indent wife faid, fhall in their Prefence, and in the Prefence of fuch Contributors or Adventurers as will be into a Box marked with there, caufe all the faid Tickets, which are to be fo rolled up, and made faft as aforefaid, to be cut the Letter (A) off Indentwife through the faid oblique Lines, Flourifhes or Devices, into a Box, to be prepared for that Purpofe, and to be marked with the Letter (A) which is prefently to be put up into an- Box to be lacked up an4 other ftrong Box, and to be locked with feven different Locks and Keys, to be kept by as many of Sealed. the faid Managers, and fealed with their Seals, or the Seals of fome of them, until the faid Tickets are to be drawn, as is herein after mentioned ; and that the Tickets in the firft or innermoft Columns of the faid Books, fhall remain ftill in the Books for difcovering any Miftake or Fraud (if any fuch Ihould happen to be committed) contrary to rhe true Meaning of this A£f. XXXVII. And be it further enaifxed by the Authority aforefiid.
