And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid. That no Perfon or Perfons fhall Limitation of Sale of fell the Chance or Chances of any Ticket or Tickets in the faid Lottery, or any Share or Shares of ^""^'^ '^'^' any Ticket or Tickets in the faid Lottery, for a Day, or Part of a Day, or for a longer Time Icfs than the whole Time of drawing the Lottery then to come; or fhall receive any Money whatfoever in confideration of the Repayment of any Sum or Sums of Money, in cafe any Ticket or Tickets in the faid Lottery fhall prove fortunate ; or fhall lay any Wager relating to the drawing of any Ticket or Tickets in the faid Lottery, either as to the Time of fuch Ticket or 1'ickets being drawn, or whether fuch Ticket or Tickets be drawn fortunate or unfortunate ; and all and every Perfon and Perfons who fhall offend in any of the aforefaid Matters, fhall forfeit and pay treble the Sum and Penalty, Sums of Money which fhall have been received by fuch Perfon and Perfons, contrary to the true Intent and Meaning of this Aft; to be recovered by Aclion of Debt, Bill, Plaint, or Information, in any of his Majelty's Courts of Record at JVeJiinlnJhr ; in which no Eilbin, I rotedtion. Privilege, or Wager of Law, or more than one Imparlance, fhall be allowed ; one Moiety whereof to be for the Ufe of his Majefly, his Heirs, or Succeflbrs, and the other Moiety to be paid to the Perfon or Perfons who fhall fue for the fame ; and every fuch Sale, Wager, or Contraft, and every Agreement relating thereto, fhall be, and is hereby declared null and void. XXXIX. And be it further enaded by the Authority aforefaid.
