XXII. Provided always, and it is hereby enaded b^ the Authority aforefaid. That in cafe it fhall ^'^^^^^^^Pi"" ""'^ at any Time fo happen, that the Spirits diftilled for Exportation in one Day belonging to any Dif-Spi^|'"Q^/^j^g°g'^^p^ tiller or Diftillers, cannot, for Want of Time, be conveyed from the Spirit CafiC (into which they and' fecured in the Ware- are dire6led to be run immediately from the Still) and locked up in the Warehoufe or Warehoufes, houfe, as herein before is dire(5f:ed, the Officer of Excife fhall gauge the fame, and fecure the Lid of the faid Spirit Caftc, and take Samples thereof; which Spirits fliall be locked up in fuch Warehoufe or Ware-'^'|'-^°^^" fo gauge houfes the next Morning (if^ not intended for immediate Exportation) : And if it fliall appear thatpj^^Tj thereof and fecul^' any Decreafe has been made in the Qiiantity or Quality of the faid Spirit fo gauged, or in cafe any the Lid of the Caik ; fuch Spirits fhall have been removed in the Abfence of the Officer of Excife, in either of the faid-md if any Fraud fJiall Cafes the Diftiller or Diftillers fhall be and are hereby charged for the faid Spirits fo decreafed or re- ^"^"PO" Recommitted, moved, with double the Duties fuch Spirits would have been charged with if made for Home Con- ^|]^Jj'^'j^||^|g„^*'^ P^^ fumption ; which the Officer of Excife is hereby required to charge accordingly. XXIII. Provided alfo, and it is hereby enaded by the Authority aforefaid.
