' the Houfe of Commons, exprefied in the faid Addrefs, did give and grant unto the hid Wrihur On- ' Jlotv, in Confideration of his great and eminent Services performed to his County as aforefaid, and
- as a fignal Mark of his Majefty's Royal flavour, an Annuity or yearly Suni of three thoufand
' Pounds, to be iffuing and payable out of, and charged and chargable upon, the refpeftive Monies ' and Revenues therein after mentioned, to be held, received and enjoyed by the faid Jrthur Onjlowy
- his Executors, Adminiftrators or Affigns, for and during the natural Lives of him the faid Arthvr
' Orjhiv, and of his Son George Onjloiv Eiquire, and for and during the natural Life of the longer
- Liver of them; and to direil that the faid Annuity, or yearly Sum of three thoufand Pounds, for
- fo long Time as his Majefty {hould continue in Life, (hould be charged upon, and paid out of
- any Monies, which from Time to Time, fhould be in the Receipt of the Exchequer, applicable
- to the Ufes of his Majefty's Civil Government, and that the faid Annuity or yearly Sum fhould
- commence fro:-!i the Day of the Date of the faid Letters Pattnt: And v/hereas by virtue and in
' purfuance of the faid Letters Patent, feveral Payments have been made out of the Monies appli- ' cable as aforefaid, to the faid Arthur Onjlow, amounting in the whole to the Sum of two thoufand ' one hundred and thirty-four Pounds twelve Shillings and three Pence Hhalfpenny : And whereas
- his Majefty has been graciouily pleafed to fignify to his Parliament, that it not having been in his
- Majefty's Power to extend the Effect of the faid Grant beyond the Term of his own Life, his
' Majefty recommends it to his Parliament to confider of a proper Method of extending and fecu-
- ring the fame in the moft effectual Manner, for the Benefit of the faid Arthur Onjhw: Now we,
- your Majefty's moft dutiful and loyal Subjeils, the Commons of Great Britain in this prefent
- Parliament aflemblcd, being defirous to make good to your Majefty fuch Expences as have been,
- and to provide for fuch as might be, incurred by your Majefty in confequence of the faid Grant,
- and to fettle and fecure, in the moft beneficial Alanner, for the Ufe of the faid Arthur Onjlow^ the
- yearly Sum of three thoufand Pounds, for and during the Term herein after mentioned, agreeably
- to your Majefty's moft gracious Intentions, and as a Teftimony of the grateful and aft'edionate
