Sum of three millions, the principal Sums by them refpedtively paid, and the Annuities payable in re- fpecl thereof, at the Rate aforefaid, to the End that the faid Auditor may be thereby fatisfied that the full and entire Sum payable by each Contributor, hath been paid to fuch Ca'ihier or Cafliiers ; which Books fnail remain in the Office of the Auditor of the faid Receipt for ever. Contributors to LVI. And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid. That every fuch Contributor, or fuch iTing their Cer- other Perfon as fhall be pofl'efled of any fuch Certificate by this Acl directed to be given by any fuch ^if^^cd^fo^'^Or- ^^^i^»'> ^^^'1 before the fifth Day of January one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-eight deliver, or ders"^and to caufc to be deliveied, every Certificate fo to him or her given, to be exchanged for Orders to be made nam's Ncminees out in the Manner herein after mentioned ; and (hall aifo at the fame Time nam.e to the faid Auditor, for the Lite An- his or her own, or fome other Life, during which he or fhe, or his or her Affigns, fhall be intitled to nuiu.s. receive a Dividend or Share of the yearly Eund by this Ail direfted to be fet apart, out of the faid feveral Rates, Duties and Sums of Money by this A£t granted to his Majefty ; upon Pain of forfeiting not only the Half Year's Annuity which fhall become due and payable to him or her, or his or her AiTigns, oa the fifth Day of 'January one thoufand ity^n hundred and fifty-eight, in refpeft of every principal Sum of one hundred Pounds, to be advanced as aforefaid, but alfo all fubfequent Half-yearly Payments, until he or fhe, or his or her AfTigns, fhall have produced to the Auditor of the Receipt fuch Certificate or Certificates, and fhall have appointed a Nominee or Nominees as aforefaid. That the Auditor of the faid Receipt of of Orders for Exchcqucr fhall, as foon as conveniently may be after fuch Certificate or Certificates fhall be delivered ^"d-^"r'thr '•^ ^^"' caufe fuch and fo many Order or Orders for Payment of fuch Annuities, to be made out in the Conrii°b'j:ors Exchequer for fuch Certificate or Certificates, as fhall be defired by the faid feveral and refpedive Con- fliiil defiiej tributors, or tiieir Afligns ; taking care that the Annuity or Annuities made payable by fuch Order or Orders, do not exceed in the Whole the Annuity or Annuities fpecified and exprefled in fuch Certificate or Certificates, in exchange for which fuch Order or Orders fliall be fo made out as aforefaid ; which Order or Orders fhall be made out upon Vellum or Parchment, and fhall contain the Names, Sirnames, Additions and Places of Abode, of the refpeftive Contributors or their Affigns, and of their Nominees, and the reputed Ages and Parents of their Nominees, with other Defcriptions, which fhall heft afcertain the fame to be the Perfon of fuch Nominees; and alfo the Annuities payable during the Lives of fuch refpedtive No- figned by three minecs out of the yearly Fund herein after direded to be fet apart for that Purpofe ; and all fuch Orders

o t e reaiury. ^^^^^ ^^^ jj^^ Time being ; and after figning thereof, the fame fhall be firm, good, valid and clFedual in Law, according to the Purpofe and true Meaning thereof, and of this A£l, and fhall not be determinable by or upon the Deaths or Removals of any Commifiioner or Commiffioners of the Treafury, or High Treafurcr; nor fhall they or any of them have Power to revoke, countermand, or make void, fuch Or- ders fo figned as aforefaid. Books to be pro- LVIIL And it is hereby enacted. That in the Offices of the Auditor of the faid Receipt of the Ex- vided at the Ex- chequer, and Clerk of the Pells feverally, there fhall be provided and kept one or more Book or Books, th^Tier^fo^en- j^ which fhall be fairly entered the Names of all fuch Contributors, or their Affigns, and their Nomi- oV Contributors necs, during whofe Lives refpedlively the feveral Dividends of the faid yearly Fund hereafter directed to Affigns and No- be fct apart fhall be payable, at the Time when the fame fliall be nominated as aforefaid ; which Books nnntes. it fhall be lawful for the refpedtive Contributors, their Executors, Adminiflrators or Affigns, from time to time, to have refort to, and to infpedl without Fee or Reward. The yearly Sum LIX. And it is hereby further enacted by the Authority aforefaid. That out of the Monies arifing by oi 33,7501. ap- virtue of thvs Aft, there fhall yearly and every Year be feparated and kept apart at the faid Receipt of propriated for Exchcquor, the Sum of thirty-three thoufand feven hundred and fifty Pounds; which faid Sum of thirty- Payment of L»fe ^hj-^-e thoufand feven hundred and fifty Pounds fhall be, and is hereby declared to be a yearly Fund, for anfwering and paying the Annuities as aforefaid, and fhall yearly and every Year be equally divided among the faid Contributors, their Executors, Adminiftrators or Affigns, during the Lives of their re- fpediive Non'.inees, in Proportion to the Principal Sums by them advanced, by two equal Half-yearly Payment to be Payments ; that is to fay. On the fifth Day of Jamiary and fifth Day of July in every Year; the firft mid* Half-ytar- Payment thereupon to be made on the fifth Day of January one thoufand ieven hundred and fifty-eight, ^y* if fuch Contributors rtfpedively fhall, on or before that Time, have appointed their Nominees, or upon fuch of the faid Half-yearly Days of Payment, as fhall be next after the reipedUve Appointnaents of their Nominees.
