Court of Exchequer, that he or they are fatistied, by Proof upon Oath before him or them made, that any fuch Order or Orders have been loft, burnt or otherwife deftroyed) to cauf^ new Orders to be made forth at the Exchequer, to be made by him or them, in Lieu of fuch Orders fo ccrtihed to be loft, burnt or dcftroycd; and the. refpc6ive Officers in the faid Exchequer are hereby directed to pay the Intereft which flj.dl from time to time become due on fuch new Orders, as if the original Order or Orders had Wcpricior g'.ving been produced; and all fuch Payments fhall be allowed in their rcfpeftive Accounts; provided that the Secur.ty. ders, or of the Annuities payable thereon, or of any Receipt or Difcharge to the Exchequer, for the An- nuities due or to grow due on any fuch Order or Orders, or of any Letter of Attorney, or other Autho- rity or Inftrument, to transfer, affign, alien or convey any fuch Order or Orders, or to receive the An- nuities due or to grow due thereon, or any Part thereof; or fhall forge or counterfeit, or procure to he forged or counterfeited, or knowingly or wilfully a£t or aftift in the forging or counterfeiting any the. Name or Karnes of any of the Proprietors of any fuch Order or Orders, in or to any fuch pretended AfTign- ment or Afiignments, Receipt, Letter of Attorney^ Certificate, Inftrument or Authority; or fliall fajfojy ind deceitfully perfcnate any true ar.d real Proprietor or Proprietors of any of the faid Orders, and there- by alTign, or endeavour to afTign, any of the laid Orders, or receive or endeavour to receive the Money of fuch true and lawful Proprietor, as if fuch Offender were the true and lawful Owner thereof;, then, and in every fuch Cafe, all ar.d every fuch Perfon and Perfons being thereof lawfully conviiSted in due Form of Law, fhall be adjudged guilty of Felony, and fliall fufFer Death as in Cafes of Felojiy, without teneSt of Clergy.
