Commiffioners of theTreafury, or the High Treafurer for the Time being, fhall appoint to take livering out the Certifi- > n the faid Tickets, and deliver out the faid Certificates for and in lieu thereof, fhall give timely cates, &c Notice, by Advertifement to be printed and publifhed in Manner as they fhall think fit, of the Days and Times for taking in the faid Tickets, and delivering out the faid Certificates for and in lieu of the fame; and every Perfon's Certificate fhall be numbered in courfe, in refpect of each Lottery, according to their bringing their Tickets to the Managers fo to be appointed for exchanging Books to be kept for en- the fame; to which Purpofe fuch Managers fhall enter, or caufe to be entered into a Book or Books JSfbrinta "ricfato"o to be by them kept for that Pur P° fe for each Lottery, the Name of every Perfon who fhall bring b° exchanged 8 - m& h° anv Ticket or Tickets to be exchanged for fuch Certificate or Certificates, and the Number or Numbers of the faid - Numbers of the Ticket or Tickets which fhall be fo brought by fuch Perfon or Perfons, the Value Tickets, -&c. in Principal Money payable thereupon, and the Day of the Month, and the Year of our Lord when the fame was fo brought; which refpective Book and Books fhall lie open in the Office to be appointed for taking in the faid Tickets to be exchanged for fuch Certificates, for all Perfons con- Certificates to be cerned to perufe; all which Certificates fhall be figned by the Managers fo to be appointed, or the figned, &c. major Part of them, and be directed to the Accomptant General of the Bank of England for the Time being. ^"X^s^ircCredit LXI ^- And be il further enafled by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Accomptant General for the Principal 'Sums' or " trle Bank of England for the Time being, to whom the faid Certificates are to be directed as contained in the Certi- aforefaid, fhall upon receiving and taking in the faid Certificates, or any of them, give Credit to ficates; the Perfons named therein, in a Book or Books to be by him provided and kept, for the Principal and Affignments may be Sums contained in every fuch Certificate; and the Perfons to whofe Credit fuch Principal Sums Sums °&c! he *k a " be entered in the faid Book or Books, his, her or their Executors, Adminiftrators, Succeffors and Affigns, fhall and may have Power to aflign or transfer the fame, or any Part, Share or Propor- tion thereof, to any other Perfon or Perfons, Bodies Politick or Corporate whatfoever, in Books to be prepared and kept by the faid Accomptant General; and the faid Principal Sums fo entered, af- figned or transferred, fhall carry the faid Annuity of four Pounds per Centum per Annum, and fhall be taken and deemed to be Stock transferrable by virtue of this Act, until the Redemption thereof and he is to file and can- in Manner herein after mentioned; and the faid Accountant General of the Bank of England for eel the Certificates, and the Time being is hereby authorifed and directed to cancel and. file the Certificates as they fhall giveNotes in hcu thereof. from time to tmle be received and taken in by him, and to give the Perfons bringing in the fame a Note under his Hand, teftifying the Principal Money for which they fhall have Credit in the faid BooJt
