కఠారి kathari, s. vide కటారి katari.

కఠినము ka£hinamu, adj. Hard, firm, solid. 2. Difficult. 3. Severe, cruel, inflexible, rigid, un tractable.

కఠోరము kathoranru, adj. Hard, solid. 2. Difficult. 3. Frightful, horrible. 4. complete, full ; full grown.

కడ kada, s. Place. 2. Quarter or direction. 3. End, or extremity. 4. Side, or corner, adj. Last. Postpos. Near. When this word is affixed to the infinitive of verbs, it forms, with it, an abstract noun. ఇక్కడ ikkada, In this place, or here. ఆకడ, అక్కడ akada, akkada ; In that place, or there. నాకడ nakada, Near me. రాకడ rakada, Coming, పోకడ pokada, Going. కట్టకడ kattakada, At the very end. పెందలకడ pendalakada,Early,sooii, not too late. రేపకడ repakada, In the morning. వెలిగడ veligada, Dry ground ; soil not watered artificially, but by the rains. పరగడ pafagada, A field which is situated close to a village. చెట్టుకడ chettukada, The end, or top, of a tree.
