మత్సరము matsaramu, s. Envy, animosity, impatience of another's success or prosperity. 2. Passion, anger.

మత్స్యము niatsyanra, s. A fish.

మదటయేనుగు, మదపుటేనుగు madatayenugu, madaputenugu, s. An elephant in rut.

మదము madamti, s. Joy, pleasure, delight. 2. The juice that exudes from an elephant's temple, when in rut. 3. Spirituous or vinous liquor. 4. Inebriety, intoxication. 5. Pride, arrogance. 6.Insanity, madness. 7. Desire, love.

మదాళించు madalintsu, v. n. To grow, or shoot out, well, or strongly.

మదించు madintsu, v. n. To be joyful. 2. To be proud, or arrogant. 3. To be intoxicated. 4. To be in rut.
