Public Law 99-250 99th Congress An Act To amend the Act establishing the Petrified Forest National Park.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 2 of the Act of March 28, 1958 (72 Stat. 69), to establish the Petrified Forest National Park, is amended by inserting the following at the end thereof: "Township 19 north, range 24 east: the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 27.". SEC. 2. The provisions of this Act shall not take effect until the Secretary of the Interior determines that fee simple title to the property described in section 1 has vested in the United States. Such determination of the Secretary shall be published in the Federal Register. Approved February 27, 1986.
