Joint Resolution Making continuing appropriations for the flscfil year 1987, and for other purposes.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the following sums are hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and out of applicable corporate or other revenues, receipts, and funds, for the several departments, agencies, corporations, and other organizational units of the Government for the fiscal year 1987, and for other purposes, namely: SEC. 101. (a) Such amounts as may be necessary for programs, projects or activities provided for in the Agriculture, Rural Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 1987, at a rate of operations and to the extent and in the manner provided as follows, to be effective as if it had been enacted into law as the regular appropriations Act: AN ACT • • - - - - - ^.-^ ••-.•..-. Making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, and Related Agencies programs for the Hscal year ending September 30, 1987, and for other purposes.

TITLE I—AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMS PRODUCTION, PROCESSING AND MARKETING OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY

For necessary expenses of the Office of the Secretary of Agriculture, including not to exceed $75,000 for employment under 5 U.S.C. 3109, $1,623,000: Provided, That not to exceed $8,000 of this amount shall be available for official reception and representation expenses, not otherwise provided for, as determined by the Secretary. OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR ADMINISTRATION

For necessary expenses of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration to carry out the programs funded in this Act, $455,000. RENTAL PAYMENTS ( U S D A) (INCLUDING TRANSFERS OF FUNDS)

For payment of space rental and related costs pursuant to Public Law 92-313 for programs and activities of the Department of Agriculture which are included in this Act, $48,728,000: Provided, That in the event an agency within the Department of Agriculture should require modification of space needs, the Secretary of Agriculture may transfer a share of that gigency's appropriation made available 'Note: For information on the printing of this law and a related Presidential statement, see the editorial note at the end (100 Stat. 3341-388).
