For expenses necessary for basic and applied scientific research, development, test, and evaluation, including maintenance, rehabilitation, lease, and operation of facilities and equipment, as authorized by law; $4,556,076,000, to remain available for obligation until September 30, 1988. _^^.,,.,. „„., RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, TEST, AND EVALUATION, NAVY

For expenses necessary for basic and applied scientific research, development, test, and evaluation, including maintenance, rehabilitation, lease, and operation of facilities and equipment, as authorized by law; $9,326,418,000, to remain available for obligation until September 30, 1988; of the total amount available for obligation $173,525,000 is available only for full-scale development of the MK-50 Advanced Lightweight Torpedo Program, $39,704,000 is available only for the Low Cost Anti-Radiation Seeker Program, and $3,000,000 is available only for the Aircrew Impact Injury Prevention Project: Provided, That the funds available for the V-22 Osprey Program shall not be subject to obligational limitations set forth in a National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 1987: Provided further, That funds made available for the Surface ASW Systems Improvement Program shall not be obligated or expended until a Joint Resources Management Board Milestone II decision and a Secretary of Defense Decision Memorandum have approved the initiation of full-scale engineering development: Provided further, That $1,800,000 shall be made available for research and development and related equipment for the Institute for Technology Development, as a grant, for the National Center for Physical Acoustics. For expenses necessary for basic and applied scientific research, development, test, and evaluation, including maintenance, rehabilitation, lease, and operation of facilities and equipment, as authorized by law; $15,062,783,000, to remain available for obligation until September 30, 1988; of the total amount available for obligation $17,375,000 is available only for the Low Cost Seeker ^Q

RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, TEST, AND EVALUATION, DEFENSE AGENCIES (INCLUDING TRANSFER OF FUNDS)

For expenses of activities and agencies of the Department of Defense (other than the military departments), necessary for basic and applied scientific research, development, test, and evaluation; advanced research projects as may be designated and determined by the Secretary of Defense, pursuant to law; maintenance, rehabilitation, lease, and operation of facilities and equipment, as authorized by law; $6,742,091,000, to remain available for obligation until
