TITLE IX—REGULATIONS SEC. 901. EFFECTIVE DATES. (a) ISSUANCE OF REGULATIONS.—

(1) AUTHORITY.—The Farm Credit Administration Board shall issue such regulations as the Board considers necessary for the orderly and efficient implementation of the provisions of, and the amendments made by, this Act relating to the Farm Credit Act of 1971 (12 U.S.C. 2001 et seq.). (2) TIMING.—To the extent the Farm Credit Administration is required to issue regulations to implement this Act and the amendments made by this Act, the Farm Credit Administration shall issue such regulations as expeditiously as possible, and, except as otherwise provided in this Act, not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act. (b) TEMPORARY RETENTION OF CERTAIN REGULATIONS.—

(1) IN GENERAL.—Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the regulations issued by the Farm Credit Administration before the date of the enactment of this Act under provisions amended by this Act shall remedn in effect, notwithstanding such amendments, until the Farm Credit Administration issues
