(10) For military family housing functions— (A) for construction and acquisition of military family housing and facilities, $513,000; and (B) for support of military housing (including functions described in section 2833 of title 10, United States Code), $20,187,000, of which not more than $17,179,000 may be obligated or expended for the leasing of military family housing units in foreign countries. (b) LIMITATION OF TOTAL COST OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.—Not-
withstanding the cost variations authorized by section 2853 of title 10, United States Code, and any other cost variations authorized by law, the total cost of all projects carried out under section 2401 may not exceed— (1) the total amount authorized to be appropriated under paragraphs (1) and (2) of subsection (a); (2) $27,000,000 (the balance of the amount authorized under section 2401(a) for the construction of a medical facility at Fort Sill, Oklahoma); and (3) $27,500,000 (the balance of the amount authorized under section 2401(b) for the construction of a medical facility at Seoul, Korea). (c) RESTRICTION ON CERTAIN FUNDING.—Of the amounts appropriated pursuant to this section or otherwise made available to the Department of Defense for fiscal year 1989, not more than $65,000,000 may be obligated or expended for use in planning and construction of a National Test Facility for the Strategic Defense Initiative at Falcon Air Force Base, Colorado. SEC. 2408. RESITING OF OVERSEAS CONTINGENCY MEDICAL FACILITY
Section 2141(b) of the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1988 and 1989 (division B of Public Law 100-180; 101 Stat. 1201) is amended by striking out "RAF Wethersfield, United Kingdom, $740,000." under the heading "DEFENSE MEDICAL FACILITIES OFFICE" and inserting in lieu thereof "Boscombe Downs, United Kingdom, $740,000.".
