AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS, NAVY (a) IN GENERAL.— Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1990, for military construction, land acquisition, sind military family housing func- tions of the Department of the Navy in the total amount of $986,410,000 as follows: (1) For military construction projects inside the United States authorized by section 2221(a), $166,181,000. (2) For military construction projects outside the United States authorized by section 2221(b), $1,030,000. (3) For unspecified minor construction projects under section 2805 of title 10, United States Code, $15,500,000. (4) For architectural and engineering services and construc- tion design under section 2807 of title 10, United States (Dode, $81,999,000. (5) For military family housing functions— (A) for construction and acquisition of military fsimily housing and facilities, $46,800,000; and (B) for support of military housing (including functions described in section 2833 of title 10, United States Code), ( $674,900,000, of which not more than $66,421,000 may be obligated or expended for the leasing of military family housing units worldwide. (b) LIMITATION ON TOTAL COST OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. —Not- withstanding the cost variations authorized by section 2853 of title 10, United States Code, and any other cost variation authorized by law, the total cost of all projects carried out under section 2221 of this Act may not exceed the total amount authorized to be appro- priated under paragraphs (1) and (2) of subsection (a). TITLE XXIII—AIR FORCE PART A—FISCAL YEAR 1990 SEC. 2301. AUTHORIZED AIR FORCE CONSTRUCTION AND LAND ACQUISI- TION PROJECTS (a) INSIDE THE UNITED STATES.—The Secretary of the Air Force may acquire real property and may carry out military construction projects in the amounts shown for each of the installations and locations inside the United States: ALABAMA Gunter Air Force Base, $12,100,000. Maxwell Air Force Base, $1,520,000. ALASKA Clear Air Force Station, $5,000,000. Eielson Air Force Base, $21,000,000. -^
