HIGHWAY SAFETY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS (HIGHWAY TRUST FUND) For necessary expenses to carry out construction projects as au- thorized by Public Law 99-500 and Public Law 99-591, $12,000,000, to be derived from the Highway Trust Fund and to remain available until expended. HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT DEMONSTRATION PROJECT (HIGHWAY TRUST FUND) For the purpose of carrying out a coordinated project of highway improvements in the vicinity of Pontiac and East Lansing, Michi- gan, that demonstrates methods of enhancing safety and promoting economic development through widening and resurfacing of high- ways on the Federal-aid primary system and on roads on the Federal-aid urban system, as authorized by Public Law 99-500 and Public Law 99-591, $11,000,000, to be derived from the Highway Trust Fund and to remain available until expended. HIGHWAY-RAILROAD GRADE CROSSING SAFETY DEMONSTRATION PROJECT (HIGHWAY TRUST FUND) For the purpose of carrying out a coordinated project of highway- railroad grade crossing separations in Mineola, New York, that demonstrates methods of enhancing highway-railroad crossing safety while minimizing surrounding environmental effects, as au- thorized by Public Law 99-500 and Public Law 99-591, $9,500,000, to be derived from the Highway Trust Fund and to remain available until expended. HIGHWAY WIDENING DEMONSTRATION PROJECT For necessary expenses to carry out a demonstration project to improve U.S. Route 202 in the vicinity of King of Prussia, Penn- sylvania, as authorized by Public Law 100-202, $2,000,000, to remain available until expended. BRIDGE IMPROVEMENT DEMONSTRATION PROJECT For 80 percent of the expenses necessary to carry out a highway project in the vicinity of Jacksonville, Florida, for the purpose of demonstrating methods of reducing traffic congestion and improving efficiency in the trans-shipment of military and civilian cargo by construction of a bridge to Blount Island, widening State Highway
