SHORT-TERM BORROWINGS For an additional amount for "Short-term borrowings", $3,349,000. OPTICAL AND DENTAL BENEFITS For an additional amount for "Optical and dental benefits", $543,000. ENERGY ADJUSTMENT The paragraph under the heading "Energy Adjustment" in the District of Columbia Appropriations Act, 1990, approved November 21, 1989 (Public Law 101-168; 103 Stat. 1273), is hereby repealed. EQUIPMENT ADJUSTMENT The paragraph under the heading "Equipment Adjustment" in the District of Columbia Appropriations Act, 1990, approved November 21, 1989 (Public Law 101-168; 103 Stat. 1273), is hereby repealed. PERSONAL SERVICES ADJUSTMENT The paragraph under the heading "Personal Services Adjustment" in the District of Columbia Appropriations Act, 1990, approved November 21, 1989 (Public Law 101-168; 103 Stat. 1273), is hereby repealed. SUPPLY, ENERGY, AND EQUIPMENT ADJUSTMENTS The Mayor shall reduce authorized supply, energy, and equipment appropriations and expenditures within object classes 20 (supplies), 30a (energy), and 70 (equipment) in the aggregate amount of $5,000,000 within one or several of the various appropriation headings in this chapter: Provided, That notwithstanding any other provision of law, such reductions shall not be allocated to any activities or programs of the Metropolitan Police Department.
