' [S. 1939] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF AUTHORIZATION. Section 1373 of the Education Amendments of 1980 is amended to 94 Stat. 1502. read as follows: "AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS "SEC. 1373. There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subpart: " (1) $700,000 for fiscal year 1991; " (2) $550,000 for fiscal year 1992; "(3) $325,000 for fiscal year 1993; and "(4) $150,000 for fiscal year 1994. No funds are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subpart for fiscal year 1995 or any succeeding fiscal year.". SEC. 2. TREATMENT OF FISCAL YEAR 1990 CONTRIBUTIONS. For purposes of complying with the matching requirements of section 13720)) of the Education Amendments of 1980, private contributions received by the Taft Institute for fiscal year 1990 may be treated as private contributions received by the Institute for fiscal year 1991.
