PUBLIC LAW 102-395—OCT. 6, 1992 106 STAT. 1831 neighborhood revitalization by developing a plan for the use of Federal funds appropriated for selected activities in the Departments of Labor, Education, Health and Human Services, Transportation, Agriculture, and Housing and Urban Development; (2) the Attorney General shall solicit from State and local governments plans to revitalize neighborhoods using programs administered by such agencies; and (3) the Attorney General shall review and approve such plans in consiiltation with the Federal agency to which funds are appropriated: Provided further, That funds designated by Congress through language or through policy guidance in reports for other Department of Justice appropriation accounts for "Weed and Seed" program activities shall be managed and executed by the Attorney General through the Executive Office for Weed and Seed: Provided further. That the Attorney General may direct the use of other Department of Justice funds and personnel in support of "Weed and Seed" program activities only after the Attorney General notifies the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate in accordance with section 606 of this Act. UNITED STATES PAROLE COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses of the United States Parole Commission as authorized by law, $9,309,000. LEGAL ACTIVITIES SALARIES AND EXPENSES, GENERAL LEGAL ACTIVITIES For expenses necessary for the legal activities of the Department of Justice, not otherwise provided for, including not to exceed $20,000 for expenses of collecting evidence, to be expended under the direction of the Attorney General and accounted for solely on his certificate; and rent of private or Government-owned space in the District of Columbia; $395,500,000; and of which not to exceed $6,000,000 for litigation support contracts shall remain available until September 30, 1994: Provided, That of the funds available in this appropriation, not to exceed $35,213,000 shall remain available until expended for office automation svstems for the legal divisions covered by this appropriation, and tor the United States Attorneys, the Antitrust Division, and offices funded through "Salaries and Expenses", General Administration: Provided further, Ttiat of the total amount appropriated, not to exceed $1,000 shall be available to the United States National Central Bureau, INTERPOL, for official reception and representation expenses: Provided further. That notwithstanding 31 U.S.C. 1342, the Attorney General may accept on behalf of the United States, gifts of money, personal property and services, for the purpose of hosting the International Criminal Police Organization's (INTERPOL) American Regional Conference in the United States during fiscal year 1993. In addition, notwithstanding 31 U.S.C. 3302, for fiscal year 22 USC 612 note. 1993 and thereafter, the Attorney General shall establish and collect fees to recover necessary expenses of the Registration Unit (to include salaries, supplies, equipment and training) pursuant to the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and shall credit such fees to this appropriation, to remain available until expended.
