PUBLIC LAW 102-422—OCT. 16, 1992 106 STAT. 2167 Public Law 102-422 102d Congress An Act To amend the District of Columbia Spouse Equity Act of 1988. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the District of Columbia Spouse Equity Act of 1988, effective March 16, 1988 (D. C. Law 7-214; D. C. Code, section 1-3001 et seq.) is amended— (1) in section 2 (section 1-3001) by striking the period at the end thereof and inserting ", or an officer, member, or retiree of the United States Park Police Force, or an officer, member, or retiree of the United States Secret Service to whom the District of Columbia PoUcemen and Firemen's Retirement and Disability Act (sections 4-607 et seq. of the D. C. Code) applies. "; (2) in section 3(1) (section l-3002(a)) by striking "a District" and inserting "an"; and (3) in section 3(2) (section l-3002(b)) by striking the period at the end thereof and inserting "or an officer, member, or retiree of the United States Park Police Force or an officer, member, or retiree of the United States Secret Service to whom the District of Colimabia Policemen and Firemen's Retirement and Disability Act (sections 4-607 et seq. of the D.
