App. 2286) is amended by striking out SEC. 205." and inserting in lieu thereof the following: 'nSEC. 206. CONTRIBUTIONS FOR PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES.". (g) AMENDMENT FOR STYLISTIC CONSISTENCY.—The Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950 (50 U.S.C. App. 2251 et seq.) is further amended so that the section designation and section heading of each section of such Act shall be in the same form and typeface as the section designation and heading of section 2 of such Act, as amended by subsection (a) of this section. TITLE XXXV—PANAMA CANAL COMMISSION SEC. 3501. SHORT TITLE. This title may be cited as the "Panama Canal Commission Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1994". SEC. 3502. AUTHORIZATION OF EXPENDITURES. (a) IN GENERAL.—The Panama Canal Commission is authorized to make such expenditures within the limits of funds and borrowing authority available to it in accordance with law, and to make such contracts and commitments without regard to fiscal year limitations as may be necessary under the Panama Canal Act of 1979 (22 U.S.C. 3601 et seq.) for the operation, mcdntenance, and improvement of the Panama Canal for fiscal year 1994. (b) LIMITATIONS.—Expenditures under subsection (a) for administrative expenses may not exceed $51,742,000, of which not more than— (1) $11,000 may be expended for official reception and representation expenses of the Supervisory Board of the Commission; (2) $5,000 may be expended for official reception and representation expenses of the Secretary of the Commission; and (3) $30,000 may be expended for official reception and representation expenses of the Administrator of the Commission. (c) REPLACEMENT VEHICLES.— Available funds may be used, under the authority of subsection (a), for the purchase of not more than 35 passenger motor vehicles (including large heavy-duty vehicles used to transport Commission personnel across the Isthmus of Panama). A vehicle may be purchased under the authority of the preceding sentence only as necessary to replace a passenger motor vehicle of the Commission that is disposed of by the Commission. The purchase price of each vehicle may not exceed $18,000. SEC. 3503. EXPENDITURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH OTHER LAWS. Expenditures authorized under this Act may be made only in accordance with the Panama Canal Treaties of 1977 and any law of the United States implementing those treaties. SEC. 3504. EMPLOYMENT OF COMMISSION EMPLOYEES BY THE 22 USC 3641 GOVERNMENT OF PANAMA. note. (a) CONSENT OF CONGRESS. —Subject to subsection (b), the Congress consents to employees of the Panama Canal Commission
