EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS GRANTS (EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FUND) For necessary expenses to carry out section 117A(i)(3)(B) of the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, as amended, $400,000 to be derived from the Emergency Preparedness Fund, to remain available until expended: Provided, That not more than $11,000,000 shall be made available for obligation in fiscal year 1994 for amounts made available by section 117A (h)(6)(B) and (i)(1), (2) and (4) and section 118 of the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, as amended: Provided further. That such amounts snail only be available to the Secretary of IVansportation and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses of the Office of the Inspector General to carry out the provisions of the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, $39,000,000: Provided, That not more than $1,000,000 of the funds made available under this head shall be available for implementation of Public Law 101-576. TITLE II—RELATED AGENCIES ARCHITECTURAL AND TRANSPORTATION BARRIERS COMPLUNCE BOARD SALARIES AND EXPENSES For expenses necessary for the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board, as authorized by section 502 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, $3,348,000: Provided, That, notwithstanding any other provision of law, there may be credited to this appropriation funds received for publications and training expenses. NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION SAFETY BOARD SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses of the National Transportation Safety Board, including hire of passenger motor vehicles and aircraft; services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, but at rates for individuals not to exceed the per diem rate equivalent to the rate for a GS- 18; uniforms, or allowances therefor, as authorized by law (5 U.S.C. 5901-5902), $37,105,000, of which not to exceed $1,000 may be used for official reception and representation expenses.
