(B) in the last sentence, by striking out "House
Administration" and inserting in lieu thereof "House Oversight".
(72) Subsection (b) of the first section of House Resolution
1047, Ninety-fifth Congress, agreed to April 4, 1978, as enacted
into permanent law by section 111 of the Legislative Branch
Appropriation Act, 1979 (2 U.S.C. 130-1), is amended—
(A) in the first sentence, by striking out "contingent
fund of the House" and inserting in lieu thereof "applicable
accounts of the House of Representatives"; and
(B) in the second sentence, by striking out "House
Administration" and inserting in lieu thereof "House Oversight".
(73) The first section of the Act entitled "An Act to preserve
the benefits of the Civil Service Retirement Act, the Federal
Employees' Group Life Insurance Act of 1954, and the Federal Employees Health Benefits Act of 1959 for congressional
employees receiving certain congressional staff fellowships",
approved March 30, 1966 (2 U.S.C. 130a), is amended—
(A) by striking out "That, with respect" and inserting
in lieu thereof "That (a) with respect";
(B) in paragraph (1) of subsection (a), as so redesignated by subparagraph (A), by striking out "Clerk" and
inserting in lieu thereof "Chief Administrative Officer";
(C) by striking out "the purposes of—^" and all that
follows through "if the award" and inserting in lieu thereof
the following: "the purposes of the provisions of law specified in subsection (b), if the award";
(D) by striking out "Clerk of the House of Representatives, as appropriate" and inserting in lieu thereof "Chief
Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives,
as appropriate";
(E) by striking out "Clerk of the House by records"
and inserting in lieu thereof "Chief Administrative Officer
of the House of Representatives by records"; and
(F) by adding at the end the following new subsection:
"(b) The provisions of law referred to in subsection (a) are—
"(1) subchapter III (relating to civil service retirement)
of chapter 83 of title 5, United States Code;
"(2) chapter 87 (relating to Federal employees group life
insurance) of title 5, United States Code; and
"(3) chapter 89 (relating to Federal employees group health
insurance) of title 5, United States Code.".
(74) Section 6(a)(1) of the Act entitled "An Act to amend
title 5, United States Code, to revise, clarify, and extend the
provisions relating to court leave for employees of the United
States and the District of Columbia", approved December 19,
1970 (2 U.S.C. 130b(a)(l)), is amended by striking out "Clerk"
and inserting in lieu thereof "Chief Administrative Officer".
(75) Section 6(f) of the Act entitled "An Act to amend
title 5, United States Code, to revise, clarify, and extend the
provisions relating to court leave for employees of the United
States and the District of Columbia", approved December 19,
1970 (2 U.S.C. 130b(f)), is amended by striking out "House
Administration" and inserting in lieu thereof "House Oversight".
