MILITARY HOUSING PLANNING AND DESIGN. Using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriation in section 2406(a)(14)(A), the Secretary of Defense may carry out architectural and engineering services and construction design activities with respect to the construction or improvement of military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $500,000. SEC. 2403. IMPROVEMENTS TO MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING UNITS. Subject to section 2825 of title 10, United States Code, and using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appropriation in section 2406(a)(14)(A), the Secretary of Defense may improve existing military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $3,871,000. SEC. 2404. MILITARY HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. (a) AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS FOR CREDIT TO FAMILY HOUSING IMPROVEMENT FUND. —(1) Of the amount authorized to be appropriated pursuant to section 2406(a)(14)(C), $25,000,000 shall be available for credit to the Department of Defense Family Housing Improvement Fund established by section 2883(a)(1) of title 10, United States Code. (2) Of the amount authorized to be appropriated pursuant to section 2406(a)(14)(D), $5,000,000 shall be available for credit
