APPLICABILITY OF STATE LAW; TREATMENT OF SETTLEMENT LANDS UNDER THE INDIAN GAMING REGULATORY ACT."; and (3) by adding at the end the following new subsection: "(b) TREATMENT OF SETTLEMENT LANDS UNDER THE INDIAN GAMING REGULATORY ACT. —For purposes of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (25 U.S.C. 2701 et seq.), settlement lands shall not be treated as Indian lands.". TITLE IV—EMERGENCY APPROPRIATIONS DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT OF LANDS AND RESOURCES For an additional amount for management of lands and resources, $3,500,000, to remain available until expended, to restore public lands damaged by fire: Provided, That Congress hereby designates this amount as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(D)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further. That this amount shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request for a specific dollar amount, that includes designation of the entire amount as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress. WILDLAND FIRE MANAGEMENT For an additional amount for wildland fire management, $100,000,000, to remain available until expended, for emergency rehabilitation and wildfire suppression activities of the Department of the Interior: Provided, That Congress hereby designates this amount as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(D)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further. That this amount shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request for a specific dollar amount, that includes designation of the entire amount as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress. OREGON AND CALIFORNIA GRANT LANDS For an additional amount for Oregon and California grant lands, $2,500,000, to remain available until expended, to restore public lands damaged by fire: Provided, That Congress hereby designates this amount as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(D)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further. That this amount shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request for a specific dollar amount, that includes designation of the entire amount as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress.
