(5) REPEAL OF SUPERSEDED PROVISION.—Effective as of the date of the enactment of the Antiterrorism and Effective Death 8 USC 1225, Penalty Act of 1996, section 422 of such Act is repealed and 1225 note, 1227. the Immigration and Nationality Act shall be applied as if such section had not been enacted.
