Union Ship Canal, Buffalo and Lackawanna, New York. SEC. 105. SMALL SHORELINE PROTECTION PROJECTS. The Secretary shall conduct a study for each of the following projects, and if the Secretary determines that the project is feasible, may carry out the project under section 3 of the Act entitled "An Act authorizing Federal participation in the cost of protecting the shores of publicly owned property", approved August 13, 1946 (33 U.S.C. 426g; 60 Stat. 1056): (1) FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA. —Project for 1 mile of additional shoreline protection. Fort Pierce, Florida. (2) SYLVAN BEACH BREAKWATER, VERONA, ONEIDA COUNTY, NEW YORK. —Project for shoreline protection. Sylvan Beach breakwater, Verona, Oneida County, New York. SEC. 106. SMALL SNAGGING AND SEDIMENT REMOVAL PROJECT, MIS- SISSIPPI RIVER, LITTLE FALLS, MINNESOTA. The Secretary shall conduct a study for a project for clearing, snagging, and sediment removal, East Bank of the Mississippi River, Little Falls, Minnesota, including removal of sediment from culverts. The study shall include a determination of the adequacy of culverts to maintain flows through the channel. If the Secretary determines that the project is feasible, the Secretary may carry out the project under section 3 of the Act entitled "An Act authorizing the construction, repair, and preservation of certain public works on rivers and harbors, and for other purposes", approved March 2, 1945 (33 U.S.C. 603a; 59 Stat. 23).
