110 STAT. 4292 CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONS-^AN. 10, 1996 Jan. 10, 1996 ADJOURNMENT—HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES [H. Con. Res. 133] AND SENATE Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring). That when the House adjourns on the calendar day of Tuesday, January 9, 1996, it stand adjourned until 2 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 1996, or luitil noon on the second day after Members are notified to reassemble pursuant to section 2 of this concurrent resolution, whichever occurs first; and that when the Senate recesses or adjourns on the calendar day of Wednesday, January 10, 1996, pursuant to a motion offered by the Majority Leader or his designee, it stand recessed or adjourned until noon on Monday, January 22, 1996, or until noon on the second day after Members are notified to reassemble pursuant to section 2 of this conciurent resolution, whichever occiu's first. SEC. 2. The Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader of the Senate, acting jointly after consultation with the Minority Leader of the House and the Minority Leader of the Senate, shall notify the Members of the House and the Senate, respectively, to reassemble whenever, in their opinion, the public interest shall warrant it. Agreed to January 10, 1996. Jan. 22.1996 OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE PROVISIONAL [H. Con. Res. 123] REGULATIONS—APPROVAL Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), SECTION 1. APPROVAL OF REGULATIONS. The regulations applicable to employing offices which are not the House of Representatives or the Senate and covered employees who are not the employees of the House of Representatives or the Senate which are to be issued by the Office of Compliance before January 23, 1996, are hereby approved on a provisional basis until such time as such regulations are approved in accordance with section 304(c) of the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (2 U.S.C. 1384(c)). Agreed to January 22, 1996. Jan. 22, 1996 JOINT SESSION [S. Con. Res. 39] Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring). That the two Houses of Congress assemble in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, January 23, 1996, at 9 p.m., for the piupose of receiving such communication as the President of the United States shall be pleased to make to them.
