(6) For construction of a bachelor enlisted quarters at Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, Illinois, authorized by section 2201(a) of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997 (division B of Public Law 104-201; 110 Stat. 2766), $5,200,000. (7) For construction of a bachelor enlisted quarters at Naval Station, Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, authorized by section 2201(a) of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997 (division B of Public Law 104-201; 110 Stat. 2767), $14,600,000. (8) For construction of a large anecohic chamber facility at Patuxent River Naval Air Warfare Center, Maryland, authorized by section 2201(a) of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1993 (division B of Public Law 102- 484; 106 Stat. 2590), $9,000,000. (b) LIMITATION ON TOTAL COST OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. — Notwithstanding the cost variations authorized by section 2853 of title 10, United States Code, and any other cost variation authorized by law, the total cost of all projects carried out under section 2201 of this Act may not exceed the total amount authorized to be appropriated under paragraphs (1) and (2) of subsection (a). (c) ADJUSTMENTS. —The total amount authorized to be appropriated pursuant to paragraphs (1) through (8) of subsection (a) is the sum of the amounts authorized to be appropriated in such paragraphs, reduced by— (1) $8,463,000, which represents the combination of project savings in military family housing construction resulting from favorable bids, reduced overhead costs, and cancellations due to force structure changes; and (2) $8,700,000, which represents the combination of savings resulting from adjustments to foreign currency exchange rates for military construction projects and the support of military family housing outside the United States. SEC. 2205. AUTHORIZATION OF MILITARY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT NAVAL SrATION, PASCAGOULA, MISSISSIPPI, FOR WHICH FUNDS HAVE BEEN APPROPRIATED. (a) AUTHORIZATION.—The table in section 2201(a) of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1997 (division B of Public Law 104-201; 110 Stat. 2766) is amended— (1) by striking out the amount identified as the total and inserting in heu thereof "$594,982,000"; and (2) by inserting after the item relating to Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, the following new item:
