TITLE VII—DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
SEC. 701. REPORTS ELIMINATED.
(a) FUNDING RELATING TO EVALUATING AND MONITORING PRO-
GRAMS.—Section 7(r) of the Department of Housing and Urban
Development Act (42 U.S.C. 3535(r)) is amended—
(1) by striking paragraph (5); and
(2) by redesignating paragraph (6) as paragraph (5).
(b) STATE AND LOCAL STRATEGIES FOR REMOVAL OF BARRIERS
TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING. —Section 1207 of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1992 (42 U.S.C. 12705a note) is
repealed.
(c) COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW AND EVALUATION OF HOMELESS
ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.— Section 1409 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 (42 U.S.C. 11361 note) is amended—
(1) by striking "(a) IN GENERAL.— "; and
(2) by striking subsection (b).
(d) NEIGHBORHOOD REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.— Section 123 of
the Housing and Urban-Rural Recovery Act of 1983 (42 U.S.C. 42 USC 53i8a.
5318 note) is amended—
(1) by striking subsection (f); and
(2) by redesignating subsections (g) and (h) as subsections
(f) and (g), respectively.
(e) HOMEOWNERSHIP DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. — Section 132
of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 (Public
Law 102-550; 106 Stat. 3712) is amended—
(1) by striking subsection (f); and
(2) by redesignating subsections (g) and (h) as subsections
(f) and (g), respectively.
(f) RURAL RENTAL REHABILITATION DEMONSTRATION.—Section
311 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1987 (42
U.S.C. 1490m note) is amended—
(1) by striking subsection (c); and
(2) by redesignating subsection (d) as subsection (c).
(g) SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES UNDER NEW TOWN DEMONSTRA-
TION.^ -Section 1108 of the Housing and Community Development
Act of 1992 (42 U.S.C. 5318 note) is amended by striking "the
following" and all that follows before the period at the end of
the section and inserting the following: "a copy of the new town
plan of the governing board, upon the approval of that plan under
section 1102(d)".
TITLE VIII—INDIAN AFFAIRS
SEC. 801. REPORTS ELIMINATED.
(a) INDIAN CHILD PROTECTION AND FAMILY VIOLENCE PREVEN-
TION REPORT. —Section 412 of the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act (25 U.S.C. 3211) is repealed.
(b) REPORTS UNDER THE INDIAN FINANCING ACT OF 1974.—
Section 217 of the Indian Financing Act of 1974 (25 U.S.C. 1497)
is amended by striking subsection (f).
(c) EDUCATION AMENDMENTS OF 1978.—
