The Secretgiry shall conduct a study to determine the feasibility of constructing a sand bypassing project at the Port Everglades Inlet, Florida. SEC. 413. LAKE ALLATOONA, ETOWAH RIVER, AND LITTLE RIVER WATERSHED, GEORGIA. (a) IN GENERAL.— The Secretary, in cooperation with the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, may carry out the following water-related environmental restoration and resource protection investigations into restoring Lake Allatoona, the Etowah River, and the Little River watershed, Georgia: (1) LAKE ALLATOONA/ETOWAH RIVER SHORELINE RESTORA- TION INVESTIGATION.—Feasibility phase investigation to identify and recommend to Congress structural and nonstructural measures to alleviate shore erosion and sedimentation problems along the shores of Lake Allatoona and the Etowsdi River, (2) LITTLE RIVER ENVIRONMENTAL RESTORATION INVESTIGA- TION. —Feasibility phase investigation to evaluate environmental problems and recommend environmental restoration measures (including appropriate environment£d structural and nonstructural measures) for the Little River watershed, Georgia. (b) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—There are authorized to be appropriated for the period beginning with fiscal year 2000— (1) $850,000 to CEirry out subsection (a)(1); and (2) $500,000 to carry out subsection (a)(2). SEC. 414. BOISE, IDAHO. The Secretary shall conduct a study to determine the feasibility of undertaking flood control on the Boise River in Boise, Idaho. SEC. 415. GOOSE CREEK WATERSHED, OAKLEY, IDAHO. The Secretary shall conduct a study to determine the feasibility of undertaking flood dsmiage reduction, water conservation, ground water rechsirge, ecosystem restoration, and related activities along the Groose Creek watershed near Oakley, Idaho. SEC. 416. LITTLE WOOD RIVER, GOODING, IDAHO. The Secretary shall conduct a study to determine the feasibility of restoring and repairing the Lava Rock Little Wood River Containment System to prevent flooding in the city of Gooding, Idaho. SEC. 417. SNAKE RIVER, LEWISTON, IDAHO. The Secretary shall conduct a study to determine the feasibility of undertaking bank stabilization and flood control on the Snake River at Lewiston, Idaho. SEC. 418. SNAKE RIVER AND PAYETTE RIVER, IDAHO. The Secretary shall conduct a study to determine the feasibility of undertaking a flood control project along the Snake River and Payette River, in the vicinity of Payette, Idaho. SEC. 419. UPPER DES PLAINES RIVER AND TRIBUTARIES, ILLINOIS AND WISCONSIN. (a) IN GENERAL. — The Secretary shall conduct a study of the upper Des Plaines River and tributaries, Illinois and Wisconsin, upstream of the confluence with Salt Creek at Riverside, Illinois, to determine the feasibility of improvements in the interests of
