Section 14315(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in paragraph (1), by inserting after "(A) is assigned to the duties of a general officer of the next higher reserve grade in the Army Reserve" the following: "or is recommended for such an assignment under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of the Army"; and (2) in paragraph (2), by inserting after "(A) is assigned to the duties of a general officer of the next higher reserve
