(b) EXISTING DUTY REDUCTION.— Heading 9902.29.68 (relating
to Ethylene/tetra- fluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE)) is amended
by striking out the date in the effective period column and inserting
" 12/31/2003".
(c) OTHER MODIFICATIONS.—
(1) METHYL ESTERS.—
(A) CALENDAR YEAR 2001. —
(i) IN GENERAL.—Heading 9902.38.24 (relating to
methyl esters) is amended—
(I) by striking "Free" and inserting "1.6%";
and
(II) by striking "12/31/2000" and inserting "12/
31/2001".
(ii) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendments made by
clause (i) shall take effect on January 1, 2001.
(B) CALENDAR YEAR 2002. —
(i) IN GENERAL. —Heading 9902.38.24, as amended
by subparagraph (A), is amended—
(I) by striking "1.6%" and inserting "1.8%";
and
(II) by striking "12/31/2001" and inserting "12/
31/2002".
(ii) EFFECTIVE DATE.— The amendments made by
clause (i) shall take effect on January 1, 2002.
(C) CALENDAR YEAR 2003,—
(i) IN GENERAL.— Heading 9902.38.24, as amended
by subparagraph (B), is amended—
(I) by striking "1.8%" and inserting "1.9%";
and
(II) by striking "12/31/2002" and inserting "12/
31/2003".
(ii) EFFECTIVE DATE. — The amendments made by
clause (i) shall take effect on January 1, 2003.
(2) CERTAIN MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT.—Headings
9902.84.83, 9902.84.85, 9902.84.87, 9902.84.89, and 9902.84.91
(relating to certain manufacturing equipment) are each
amended—
(A) by striking "4011.91.50" each place it appears and
inserting "4011.91";
(B) by striking "4011.99.40" each place it appears and
inserting "4011.99 "; and
(C) by striking "86 cm" each place it appears and
inserting "63.5 cm".
(3) CARBAMIC ACID (U-9069).— Heading 9902.33.61 (relating
to carbamic acid (U-9069)) is amended—
(A) by striking "7.6%" and inserting "Free"; and
(B) by striking the date in the effective period column
and inserting "12/31/2003".
(4) DPX-E9260. —
Heading 9902.33.63 (relating to DPX-
E9260) is amended—
(A) by striking "5.3%" and inserting "Free"; and
(B) by striking the date in the effective period column
and inserting "12/31/2003".
