Medal of honor: duplicate medal "A person awarded a medal of honor shall, upon written application of that person, be issued, without charge, one duplicate medal of honor with ribbons and appurtenances. Such duplicate medal of honor shall be marked, in such manner as the Secretary of the Army may determine, as a duplicate or for display purposes only.". (B) The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by adding at the end the following new item: "3754. Medal of honor: duplicate medal.". (2) Section 3747 of such title is amended by striking "lost" and inserting "stolen, lost,". (b) NAVY AND MARINE CORPS.— (1)(A) Chapter 567 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: § 6256. Medal of honor: duplicate medal "A person awarded a medal of honor shall, upon written application of that person, be issued, without charge, one duplicate medal of honor with ribbons and appurtenances. Such duplicate medal of honor shall be marked, in such manner as the Secretary of the Navy may determine, as a duplicate or for display purposes only.". (B) The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by adding at the end the following new item: "6256. Medal of honor: duplicate medal.". (2) Section 6253 of such title is amended by striking "lost" and inserting "stolen, lost,". (c) AIR FORCE. —(1)(A) Chapter 857 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section:

    • § 8754. Medal of honor: duplicate medal

"A person awarded a medal of honor shall, upon written application of that person, be issued, without charge, one duplicate medal of honor with ribbons and appurtenances. Such duplicate medal of honor shall be marked, in such manner as the Secretary of the Air Force may determine, as a duplicate or for display purposes only.". (B) The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by adding at the end the following new item: "8754. Medal of honor: duplicate medal.". (2) Section 8747 of such title is amended by striking "lost" and inserting "stolen, lost,". (d) COAST GUARD. — (1)(A) Chapter 13 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 503 the following new section: ^§ 504. Medal of honor: duplicate medal "A person awarded a medal of honor shall, upon written application of that person, be issued, without charge, one duplicate medal of honor with ribbons and appurtenances. Such duplicate medal of honor shall be marked, in such manner as the Secretary may determine, as a duplicate or for display purposes only.".
