Pa3anent for unused leave in excess of 60 days accrued by members of reserve components on active duty for one year or less. Sec. 652. Additional authority to provide assistance for families of members of the Armed Forces. Sec. 653. Authorization of transitional compensation and commissary and exchange benefits for dependents of commissioned officers of the Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration who are separated for dependent abuse. INCREASE IN BASIC PAY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002. 31 USC 1009 (a) WAIVER OF SECTION 1009 ADJUSTMENT. —The adjustment °°*^" to become effective during fiscal year 2002 required by section 1009 of title 37, United States Code, in the rates of monthly basic pay authorized members of the uniformed services shall not be made.
