ATOMIC ENERGY DEFENSE ACTIVITIES NATIONAL NUCLEAR SECURITY ADMINISTRATION WEAPONS ACTIVITIES (INCLUDING RESCISSION) For an additional amount for "Weapons Activities" for emergency expenses, $158,050,000: Provided, That $138,650,000 shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request for $138,650,000 that includes designation of the entire amount of the request as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress: Provided further. That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended. Of the funds appropriated under this heading in Public Law 107-66 and prior Energy and Water Development Appropriations Acts, $14,460,000 of unexpended balances are rescinded. DEFENSE NUCLEAR NONPROLIFERATION For an additional amount for "Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation" for emergency activities necessary to support the safeguarding of nuclear material, $100,000,000, to remain available until December 31, 2002. OFFICE OF THE ADMINISTRATOR For an additional amount for "Office of the Administrator" for emergency expenses, $1,750,000: Provided, That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further. That the entire amount shall be available only to the extent an official budget request that includes designation of the entire amount of the request as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress.
