BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA. Section 401 of the Economic Espionage Act of 1996 (42 U.S.C. 13751 note) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)(2)— (A) by striking "1,000" and inserting "1,200"; (B) by striking "2,500" and inserting "4,000"; and (C) by striking "December 31, 1999" and inserting "December 31, 2005, serving not less than 5,000,000 young people"; (2) in subsection (c)— (A) in paragraph (1), by striking "1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001" and inserting "2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006"; and (B) in paragraph (2)— (i) in subparagraph (A), by striking "1,000" and inserting "1,200"; and (ii) in subparagraph (B), by striking "2,500 Boys and Girls Clubs of America facilities in operation before January 1, 2000" and inserting "4,000 Boys and Girls Clubs of America facilities in operation before January 1, 2007"; and (3) in subsection (e), by striking paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) and inserting the following: "(1) IN GENERAL.— T here are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section— " (A) $70,000,000 for fiscal year 2002; "(B) $80,000,000 for fiscal year 2003; "(C) $80,000,000 for fiscal year 2004; and "(D) $80,000,000 for fiscal year 2005.
