116 STAT. 1816 PUBLIC LAW 107-273—NOV. 2, 2002 (2) Any funds appropriated by Congress for the activities of any agency of an Indian tribal government or the Bureau of Indian Affairs performing law enforcement or public safety functions on any Indian lands may be used to provide the non-Federal share of a matching requirement funded under this subsection. (g) APPLICATIONS. —To request a grant under this section, the chief executive of a State, unit of local government, or Indian tribe shall submit an application to the Attorney General at such time, in such manner, and accompanied by such information as the Attorney General may require. Deadline. (h) ANNUAL REPORT TO CONGRESS.— Not later than November 30 of each year, the Attorney General shall submit a report to the Congress regarding the activities carried out under this section. Each such report shall include, for the preceding fiscal year, the number of grants funded under this section, the amount of funds provided under those grants, and the activities for which those funds were used. (i) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.— There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $3,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2002 through 2006. SEC. 11002. DISCLOSURE OF GRAND JURY MATTERS RELATING TO MONEY LAUNDERING OFFENSES. Section 3322(d)(1) of title 18, United States Code, is amended— (1) in subparagraph (A), by striking "or 1344; or" and inserting "1344, 1956, or 1957;"; (2) in subparagraph (B), by inserting "or" after the semicolon; and (3) by adding at the end the following: "(C) any provision of subchapter II of chapter 53 of title 31, United States Code;". SEC. 11003. GRANT PROGRAM FOR STATE AND LOCAL DOMESTIC PREPAREDNESS SUPPORT. (a) TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS.— (1) OFFICE. — Section 1014(a) of the USA PATRIOT Act 42 USC 3714. (Public Law 107-56) is amended by striking "Office of State and Local Domestic Preparedness Support" and inserting "Office for Domestic Preparedness". (2) PERCENT. —Section 1014(c)(3) of the USA PATRIOT Act (Public Law 107-56) is amended by inserting "not less than" before "0.25 percent". (b) ADDITIONAL USE OF GRANT AMOUNTS.—Section 1014(b) of the USA PATRIOT Act (Public Law 107-56) is amended by inserting at the end the following: "In addition, grants under this section may be used to construct, develop, expand, modify, operate, or improve facilities to provide training or assistance to State and local first responders.". SEC. 11004. UNITED STATES SENTENCING COMMISSION ACCESS TO NCIC TERMINAL. Section 534(a) of title 28, United States Code, is amended by striking paragraph (4) and inserting the following: "(4) exchange such records and information with, and for the official use of, authorized officials of the Federal Government, including the United States Sentencing Commission, the States, cities, and penal and other institutions.".
