Extended period for selection of home for travel and transportation allowances for dependents of deceased members. Transportation of family members in connection with the repatriation of members held captive. Increased weight allowances for shipment of household goods of senior noncommissioned officers. Permanent authority to provide travel and transportation allowances for family members to visit hospitalized members of the Armed Forces injured in combat operation or combat zone.

SUBTITLE D—RETIRED PAY AND SURVIVOR BENEFITS Sec. 661. Monthly disbursement to States of State income tax withheld from retired or retainer pay. Sec. 662. Denial of certain burial-related benefits for individuals who committed a capital offense.
