and ‘‘(iii) the name of the indi v id u a l described in sub - section (b)( 1 ) w ho appointed the member; and ‘‘( B ) a solicitation of nominations for each expirin g term of office on the C ommittee of a member appointed b y the S ecretary . ‘‘( 2 ) REPORT . —N ot later than the last day of each fiscal year , the Committee shall ma k e available an annual report to the Secretary, the authori z ing committees, and the public. T he annual report shall contain— ‘‘( A ) a detailed summary of the agenda and activities of, and the findings and recommendations made by, the Committee during the fiscal year preceding the fiscal year in which the report is made; ‘‘(B) a list of the date and location of each meeting during the fiscal year preceding the fiscal year in which the report is made; ‘‘(C) a list of the members of the Committee; and ‘‘( D ) a list of the functions of the Committee, including any additional functions established by the Secretary through regulation. ‘‘(f) TER MINA TION.—The Committee shall terminate on Sep- tember 30 , 201 4 .’’. (b) TRAN S ITION.—Notwithstanding section 114 of the H igher E ducation Act of 1 965 (20 U .S.C. 1011c) (as in effect before, during, and after the date of enactment of this Act)— (1) the term of each member appointed to the National Advisory Committee on I nstitutional Q uality and Integrity before the date of enactment of this Act shall expire on the date of enactment of this Act; (2) no new members shall be appointed to the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity during the period beginning on the date of enactment of this Act and ending on J anuary 31, 2009; and (3) no meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity shall be convened during such period. (c) E F FE C TI V E DATE.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on January 1, 2009. SEC.107 . DRUGAN DA L C OH OLA B USE P RE V EN TI ON. Section 120 (20 U.S.C. 1011i) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)(2)— (A) in subparagraph (A), by striking ‘‘and’’ after the semicolon; (B) by redesignating subparagraph (B) as subpara- graph (D); and (C) by inserting after subparagraph (A) the following

‘‘(B) determine the number of drug and alcohol-related violations and fatalities that— ‘‘(i) occur on the institution’s campus (as defined in section 4 8 5(f)(6)), or as part of any of the institution’s activities; and ‘‘(ii) are reported to campus officials; ‘‘(C) determine the number and type of sanctions described in paragraph (1)(E) that are imposed by the 20USC1 011 cnote. 20 USC 1011c note.
