SEC.45 4. LOAN CANCELLA TI ON F O R TEAC H ERS. (a) I N G ENE R AL.— S ection 46 0 (20 U .S. C . 108 7j ) is amended— (1) in subsection (b)(1)(A)(i)— (A) by inserting ‘‘or location’’ after ‘‘a school’’
and ( B ) by inserting ‘‘or locations’’ after ‘‘schools’’; and (2) in subsection (c)(3)(B)(iii), by inserting ‘‘or, in the case of a teacher who is employed by an educational ser v ice agency, as certified by the chief administrative officer of such agency,’’ after ‘‘borrower is employed,’’. (b) P RE V ENTION O FD OU B LE BENEFITS.—Section 460(g)(2) (20 U.S.C. 1087j(g)(2)) is amended to read as follows
‘‘(2) PREVENTION OF D OUBLE BENEFITS.—No borrower may, for the same voluntary service, receive a benefit under both this section and— ‘‘(A) section 428 J
‘‘(B) section 428 K
‘‘(C) section 455(m); or ‘‘(D) subtitle D of title I of the National and Community Service Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12571 et se q .).’’. (c) T EC H NICAL AMENDMENTS.—Section 460(b) (as amended by subsection (a)(1)) (20 U.S.C. 1087j(b)) is further amended— (1) by stri k ing paragraph (2); (2) by striking ‘‘PRO G RAM AUTHORI Z ED.—’’ and all that fol - lows through ‘‘The Secretary shall’’ and inserting ‘‘PROGRAM AUTHORIZED.—The Secretary shall’’; (3) by redesignating subparagraph (B) as paragraph (2), and adjusting the margin accordingly; and (4) by redesignating subparagraph (A) as paragraph (1), by redesignating clauses (i) and (ii) of such paragraph (as so redesignated) as subparagraphs (A) and (B), respectively, and by adjusting the margins accordingly. (d) CONFORMING AMENDMENTS.—Section 460 (20 U.S.C. 1087j) is further amended— (1) in subsection (c)(1), by striking ‘‘(b)(1)(A)’’ and inserting ‘‘(b)(1)’’; (2) in subsection (c)(3)— (A) in subparagraph (A)(i), by striking ‘‘(b)(1)’’ and inserting ‘‘(b)’’; and (B) in subparagraph (B)(i), by striking ‘‘(b)(1)’’ and inserting ‘‘(b)’’; and (3) in subsection (g)(3), by striking ‘‘(b)(1)(A)(ii)’’ and inserting ‘‘(b)(1)(B)’’.
