M ODIFICATION OF AUTHORIT Y TO CARRY OUT CERTAIN FISCAL YEAR 200 8 PRO J ECT. T he table in section 2601 of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Y ear 2008 (division B of P ublic L aw 110 – 181; 122 Stat. 527) is amended in the item relating to North K ingstown, Rhode I sland, by stri k ing ‘ ‘$33,000,000 ’ ’ in the amount column and inserting ‘‘$38,000,000’’. SEC. 2608. E X TENSION OF AUTHORIZATIONS OF CERTAIN FISCAL YEAR 2006 PROJECTS. (a) EXTENSIO N.—Notwithstanding section 2701 of the Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006 (division B of Public Law 109–163; 119 Stat. 3501), the authorizations set forth in the table in subsection (b), as provided in section 2601 of that Act, shall remain in effect until O ctober 1, 2009, or the date of the enactment of an Act authorizing funds for military construction for fiscal year 2010, whichever is later.
