DESI G N A TION OF T H ESA B INOSO W I L DE R NESS. (a) I NG ENERA L .—In furtherance of the purposes of the Wilder - ness A ct (1 6U .S. C . 1131 et se q .), the approximately 16,030 acres of land under the j urisdiction of the Taos F ield O ffice B ureau of L and Mana g ement, New Mexico, as generally depicted on the map, is designated as wilderness and as a component of the National Wilderness P reser v ation System, to be k nown as the ‘‘Sabinoso Wilderness’’. (b) MAP AN D LE G AL D E S CR I PTI O N.— (1) IN GENERAL.—As soon as practicable after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall file a map and a legal description of the Sabinoso Wilderness with— (A) the Committee on E nergy and Natural R esources of the Senate

and (B) the Committee on Natural Resources of the H ouse of Representatives. (2) FORCE O F LA W .—The map and legal description filed under paragraph (1) shall have the same force and effect as if included in this subtitle, except that the Secretary may correct any clerical and typographical errors in the map and legal description. (3) P UB LIC A V AILABILITY.—The map and legal description filed under paragraph (1) shall be on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management. (c) AD M INISTRATION OF WILDERNESS.— (1) IN GENERAL.—Subject to valid existing rights, the Sabinoso Wilderness shall be administered by the Secretary in accordance with this subtitle and the Wilderness Act (16 U.S.C. 1131 et seq.), except that— (A) any reference in the Wilderness Act to the effective date of that Act shall be considered to be a reference to the date of enactment of this Act; and (B) any reference in the Wilderness Act to the Sec- retary of Agriculture shall be considered to be a reference to the Secretary of the Interior. (2) INCORPORATION OF AC Q UIRED LAND AND INTERESTS.— Any land or interest in land within the boundary of the Sabinoso Wilderness that is acquired by the United States shall— (A) become part of the Sabinoso Wilderness; and (B) be managed in accordance with this subtitle and any other laws applicable to the Sabinoso Wilderness. 16USC 11 32note.
