(a) N ATION A L VOL U NT E E R ANTI P O V ERT Y PRO G RA MS . — Section 501 (42 U.S.C. 5081) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) by striking paragraphs (1) through (4) and inserting the following: ‘‘(1) VOLUNTEERS IN SERVI C E TO AMERICA.—There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part A of title I $ 100,000,000 for fiscal year 2010 and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2011 through 2014. ‘‘(2) SPECIAL VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS.—There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part C of title I such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2010 through 2014.’’; and ( B ) by redesignating paragraph (5) as paragraph (3); (2) in subsection (c), by striking ‘‘part B or C’’ and inserting ‘‘part C’’; and (3) by striking subsection (e). (b) NATIONAL SENIOR SERVICE CORPS.—Section 502 (42 U.S.C. 5082) is amended to read as follows: ‘‘SEC. 502. NATIONAL SENIOR SERVICE CORPS. ‘‘(a) RETIRE D AND SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM.—There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out part A of title II, $70,000,000 for fiscal year 2010, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2011 through 2014. 42USC506 6 .
