App. 2099 note) is amended by stri k ing ‘ ‘section 309(a) of the Defense Production Act of 1950 (50 U.S.C. App. 2099(a))’’ and inserting ‘‘section 7 23(a) of the Defense Production Act of 1950’’. (2) AMERICAN HOMEO W NERSHIP AND ECONOMIC OPPOR- TUNIT Y ACTOF2 0 00.—Section 1102(2) of the American H ome- o w nership and E conomic O pportunity Act of 2000 (31 U.S.C. 1113 note) is amended by striking ‘‘309 of the Defense Produc- tion Act of 1950 (50 U.S.C. App. 2099)’’ and inserting ‘‘723 of the Defense Production Act of 1950’’. (3) DEFENSE PRODUCTION ACT AMENDMENTS OF 200 3 .—Sec- tion 7(a) of the Defense Production Act Amendments of 2003 (50 U.S.C.
