( N ) I nteragency matters affecting recovering wounded, ill, and injured members of the Armed Forces in their transition to civilian life. ( O ) The effectiveness of the S enior Oversight C om - mittee in facilitating and overseeing collaboration between the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs on matters relating to the care, management, and transition of recovering wounded, ill, and injured members of the Armed Forces. ( P ) Overall coordination between the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs on the matters specified in this paragraph. ( Q ) Such other matters as the Tas k Force considers appropriate in connection with the care, management, and transition of recovering wounded, ill, and injured members of the Armed Forces. ( 4 )T RANSMIT TA L . — Not later than 90 days after receipt of a report re q uired by paragraph ( 1 ), the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the H ouse of R epresentatives the report and the Secretary ’ s evaluation of the report. (d) PLAN R EQU IRE D .—Not later than si x months after the receipt of a report under subsection (c), the Secretary of Defense shall, in consultation with the Secretaries of the military depart- ments, submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a plan to implement the rec- ommendations of the Task Force included in the report. (e) ADMINISTRATI V E MATTERS.— (1) C O M P ENSATION.— E ach member of the Task Force who is a member of the Armed Forces or a civilian officer or employee of the U nited States shall serve on the Task Force without compensation (other than compensation to which enti- tled as a member of the Armed Forces or an officer or employee of the United States, as the case may be). Other members of the Task Force shall be appointed in accordance with, and subject to, the provisions of section 3 1 6 1 of title 5 , United States Code. ( 2 ) OVERSI GH T.—The Under Secretary of Defense for Per- sonnel and Readiness shall oversee the Task Force. The W ash- ington Headquarters Services of the Department of Defense shall provide the Task Force with personnel, facilities, and other administrative support as necessary for the performance of the duties of the Task Force. (3) VISITS TO MILITAR YF A C ILITIES.—Any visit by the Task Force to a military installation or facility shall be undertaken through the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, in coordination with the Secretaries of the mili- tary departments. (f) TERMINATION.—The Task Force shall terminate on the date that is five years after the date of the enactment of this Act. Deadlin e .
