‘‘(1) INGE NE RAL.— Upon using’’
( 2 ) by inserting after ‘‘support of an appro v ed m ilitary operation’’ the following: ‘‘or c hanging the scope or funding level of any support for such an operation’’; ( 3 ) by striking ‘‘ S uch a notification need be provided only once with respect to any such operation.’’; and ( 4 ) by adding at the end the following new paragraph: ‘‘(2) CO N T ENT.— N otifications re q uired under this sub - section shall include the following information: ‘‘( A ) T he type of support provided or to be provided to United States special operations forces. ‘‘( B ) The type of support provided or to be provided to the recipient of the funds. ‘‘(C) The amount obligated under the authority to pro- vide support.’’. (c) ANN U AL R E P ORT.—Section 12 08 (f) of the Ronald W . Reagan National D efense Authori z ation Act for F iscal Y ear 200 5 ( P ublic L aw 108 – 3 7 5; 118 Stat. 208 6 ) is amended in the second sentence by striking ‘‘shall describe the support’’ and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting ‘‘shall include the following information: ‘‘(1) A description of supported operations. ‘‘(2) A summary of operations. ‘‘(3) The type of recipients that received support , identified by authorized category (foreign forces, irregular forces, groups, or individuals). ‘‘(4) The total amount obligated in the previous fiscal year, including budget details. ‘‘(5) The total amount obligated in prior fiscal years. ‘‘(6) The intended duration of support. ‘‘(7) A description of support or training provided to the recipients of support. ‘‘(8) A value assessment of the operational support pro- vided.’’. SEC.1203 . MODIF IC AT IO N OF R E P ORT ON FOREI G N - ASSISTANCE RE L ATED PROGRAMS CARRIED O U T BY T H E DEPART- MENT OF DEFENSE. (a) A M EN D MENT.—Section 120 9 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (Public Law 110–181; 122 Stat. 368) is amended— (1) in subsection (a), by striking ‘‘180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act’’ and inserting ‘‘February 1 of each year through February 1, 2013’’; and (2) in subsection (b)(1)— (A) in subparagraph ( G ), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the end; and (B) by adding at the end the following new subpara- graph: ‘‘(I) subsection (b)(6) of section 166a of title 10, United States Code; and’’. (b) REPORT F ORF ISC AL YEARS 2008 AND 2009.—The report required to be submitted not later than February 1, 2010, under section 1209(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008, as amended by subsection (a), shall include information
