C H E M ICAL AGENTS AND MUNITIONS DESTRUCTION , DEFENSE. (a) A UTHORIZA TIO N O F A P PROPRIATION S . — Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2010 for e x penses, not otherwise provided for, for Chem- ical Agents and M unitions Destruction, Defense, in the amount of $1,560,760,000, of which— (1) $1,146,802,000 is for O peration and Maintenance
(2) $401,26 9 ,000 is for R esearch, Development, T est, and E valuation; and (3) $12,689,000 is for P rocurement. (b) U S E .—Amounts authorized to be appropriated under sub- section (a) are authorized for— (1) the destruction of lethal chemical agents and munitions in accordance with section 1412 of the Department of Defense Authorization Act, 1986 (50 U.S.C. 1521); and (2) the destruction of chemical warfare materiel of the United States that is not covered by section 1412 of such Act. SEC. 1404. DRUG INTERDICTION AND COUNTER - DRUG ACTI V ITIES, DEFENSE-WIDE. Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for the Depart- ment of Defense for fiscal year 2010 for expenses, not otherwise provided for, for Drug I nterdiction and Counter-Drug Activities, Defense-wide, in the amount of $1,054,234,000. SEC. 140 5 . DEFENSE INSPECTOR GENERAL. Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for the Depart- ment of Defense for fiscal year 2010 for expenses, not otherwise provided for, for the Office of the Inspector G eneral of the Depart- ment of Defense, in the amount of $288,100,000, of which— (1) $287,100,000 is for Operation and Maintenance; and (2) $1,000,000 is for Procurement. SEC. 140 6 . DEFENSE HEALTH PROGRAM. Funds are hereby authorized to be appropriated for the Depart- ment of Defense for fiscal year 2010 for expenses, not otherwise provided for, for the Defense H ealth Program, in the amount of $28,033,093,000, of which— (1) $27,094,849,000 is for Operation and Maintenance;
